Eight municipalities with a common project
The territory occupied by the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park belongs to eight municipalities—one in Alt Empordà (L’Escala) and the rest in Baix Empordà. Three of these municipalities have a coastal frontage, while the others are inland. Despite the unique characteristics of each municipality, all eight share the ambition that the Natural Park, thanks to the good state of its ecosystems, becomes a source of pride for its inhabitants and a catalyst for sustainable economic activities.
